So besides me killing the 120v side of the water heater only other thing found on my new to me used MS is the ice maker not working. Oh and need to replace 4 year old batteries, but figured that.
Light come on when pushing the level. Water works through the door.
Lever on ice maker is down. Even if I put ice in the container no sound like it's trying to dispense it. Anything I'm missing here.

Fridge make/model? Assume it is a gas/electric if icemaker has a lever?

I'm at work right now so don't have model #. Is a Dometic 13.5 cu. Ft water & ice in the top right door. I'll get a model # when I get home tonight. Yes gas/electric fridge.

Sorry not up on that model. On our last Dometic s x s you could take the front cover off the ice maker and observe gear movement—or not.

Same with this one. Gear not moving and doesn't make any ice. Put ice in container but still gear doesn't move. No sound at all.

As this is the last thing I need to repair or upgrade (all LED bulbs now)it hasn't been a priority. I found in the wiring diagram there is a fuse for the 120v power to the ice maker. It's behind a black cover that I'm guessing covers the fridge circuit board. If not raining tomorrow I'll check it out.

Mike and Trish,

Have the batteries checked. We've lived in our 2010 MS since 2011 and only last July did we see a need to replace the batteries. Even then, we really didn't have any issues. I just thought they were due to be replaced.

We did that when we first bought it. I believe the ice maker needs 110v to operate. It is plugged in.

The ice maker is 120 volt. Nothing to do with batteries.

I have a Dometic 4 door model RM1350 that sounds similar to your. Unless I misread, yours has an 'ice dispenser'????

"Put ice in container but still gear doesn't move. No sound at all. "

Mine only has a water dispenser, no ice dispenser.
