Wow. California huh? Well as long as its not too expensive from Louisville KY. You have any experience on that?

As heavy as they are my guess would be around $50 UPS. I think it would be too long for us. Thanks for getting back.

UPS has two shipping prices - one based on size and weight and the other is "volume" weight. If you ship a 3' x 3' box of feathers the rate will be what they think a 3' x 3' box "should" weigh.

I have a Barker sewer tote, ordered the wrong size. Shipping back to Texas from New Jersey is between $175 to $225 depending on the options.

anijet,
He said it was 'too short' for his 44'--maybe just right for a 36-38' unit?

If possible, avoid the UPS stores and go straight to the UPS shipping terminal in your area. I shipped the rear seat from our Excursion from Memphis to northern New Hampshire three years ago. Delivered to the Ford dealer's door was $82.00. Fair price. The franchise stores are high as a cat's back.

That cover is for a 40-42 foot rig. I'm a little under 38' overall. I ordered a cover for a 38-40 foot once and although I did use it it was too big and I had to fold the rear like wrapping a present and then use extra straps to hold in place. Doable but, IMHO, just not worth it.

Got it. I used a cover when I had a TT, but it turned into a bigger hassle than it was worth to on/off it.

I agree. I haven't used one for several years but this year trailer won't be used much so covering crossed my mind. It is a hassle and when windy can damage the paint/gelcoat. Also, I can only seem to get one use out of them. Installing a new cover isn't too bad but to reinstall an already used cover is a pain. Really wish I had a barn big enough to store. Oh well, wish in one hand........
