I have a 2015 chevy 2500 that has a 7" lift on it with 37's. My last duramax had this same set up but the bodies weren't as tall and the wheel wells were bigger so I didn't need air bags and could use the weigh down to my advantage. The trailer hitch place said I will need to lift the trailer where all the hangers are 10", put shock dampeners on the axels, and this will still be under legal limit in California putting me at 13'6" tall. My question is, has anyone lifted their trailer this high, any major complications? He told me I have to be careful in high winds but he guarantees the welding and adding of 10" will be as durable as can be for the trailer side of things. My only concern is the sway, if this is going to be doable driving down the road. I am a pretty experienced driver with a comercial licence driving big trucks for a living.

No experience at all with lifts--but pulling a 35'TH with a 10" lift behind a 3/5 ton pickup with a 7" lift, doesn't sound like a good decision to me.
Think about lifting your semi that high and heading off into the sunset?
Re-think this, please.
