Leaking bedroom slide

Hello, new to this site and new drv owner. We purchased a 2013 drv traditions 38res last month and have noticed bedroom slide is leaking. It leaks when slide is in or out from the rear of slide. I have looked at all rubber seals and they seem good, I have also recaulked the entire top of slide when I had it in the bedroom. The slide also has vinyl slide toppers over all slides. I'm very surprised it leaks when retracted. Thanks for any help....

As you face the bed room slide from the outside, is leaking on left or right side?

Right side towards rear of coach. The water comes in on floor where the slide stops. So if slide is in the wet spot is five feet in from outside wall, if slide is out its wet near the outside wall, hope that makes sense...

My vote goes to the water hoses for washing machine, or the drain for it.

Bill, on the tradition the washer and dryer are in closet just as you enter the coach on lower level.there are no water lines in closet as your thinking, it also is only wet when it rains....

Check the caulking on the lower fascia of the slide. Being a 2013 model, that makes it nearly 4 model years old. That lower caulking could have pulled away from the wall on the outside, giving water a pretty smooth runway into your coach.

I first thought that also, but still doesn't make sense with the slide in. I think it is coming down the outside of the slideout opening, THEN running along the caulking of the fascia. But you are correct--that caulk will dry out/pull away, and water will run down side of slide to the crack and follow it inward.

You can be Joe1. I don't respond enough to be a 1, I am happy to be a 2.

If the caulk has dried out and pulled away, the water will find a way in whether the slide is in or out. I know this from experience. On our Montego Bay, we spent an entire summer battling a leak. It turned out that the caulk had dried and pulled away from the fascia and was getting in there. Just to look at it from the outside, the caulk still being in place, everything looked fine. And being the bedroom slide, that fascia was above my eye line. I felt like a complete idiot when I finally discovered the water intrusion point.

Also check the roof. You have nothing to loose by checking.
Water will seek the the path of least resistance and it will travel to get there.
