All tires are now made in China except Perrelli tires. Some other well known tire manufacturers have their factories in China and their tires are stamped made in USA. This was told to me by a well know tire dealership.

I do not think that is a correct statement--there is a Michelin tire plant in Duncan, OK, that is making some of their tires. Surely there are others around the US.

If it's made in China it is illegal to stamp it made in USA. Suggest you google "tires manufactured in USA. Lots. Your well know tire dealer is nuts. Who is it?

If you look at the DOT code on the tire, it will "tell" you, not only where they were manufactured, but when. Our new mobile suites tire codes told me that they tires were all manufactured between the 26 th and 28 th week of 2015 at the Goodyear plant in Topeka, KS. My tire code was: MJ97 37AW 2615. If you do a Google search on DOT tire codes, you can get a breakdown on each of the codes, ie, MJ indicates Goodyear, Topeka, KS. I believe the 97 indicates the tire model. The 2615 indicates manufacture date of 26th week of 2015. Hope this helps.....
