For those that do not go south for the winter and winterize, do you leave the electronic components in the rv

Unless you have a plasma TV, all should be ok with normal winterizing.
I believe plasma TVs can freeze, but LCDs are ok with cold temps.

I always wondered about that as well, but after 8 yrs and 6 winters stored at -20 temps never an issue with anything including our Sony Plasma TV.

You just need to move farther north--and stop where the TV freezes...
Thanks for relaying real experience with a plasma--it was info from various forum sources that I was passing on as I don't have any but the LCDs and I rarely see under 20d at home.

Hey Joe,
Funny one...further north! No more cold issues now, never even winterize the trailer. Head south before first snow fall if possible!
