All packed and ready to go (Saturday)
Asked Maureen to retract the slide-outs
The big street-side slide made a "clunk" - never moved
The piece of metal holding the cylinder to the slide rail snapped!
So............
Called Dale Fenton (to the rescue)
"Lippert" (Bob T and Ron) arrived 1/2 hr. later with portable welder
Fixed weld
As slide is being retracted, Ron says, "I don't like the sound of this!"
So.................
Here we sit (surrounded by Heartlanders)- have an appointment at 8am at the Lippert shop.
Thanks Dale, Bob and Ron!
If something is going to break on the slides, I guess this is the best place to be.

Man Mike, that is too bad. but like you said best place to be, also have the connections to boot! Not great publicity for DRV leaving a dead Suite for the competition's rally!
