Here's a new one, the front decals on the front cap for our beloved Suites are no longer available for the older units.
Last week-end I scraped & peeled mine off, for the 2nd time, in order to refresh the front cap's look.
I ordered up the decals, and the ones that arrived were quite different.
So, I got in touch with Greg V to see what could be done.
The answer was simply, the originals are now na.
Hmmmm.......I said but the "new ones" don't match the 3 other sets on the sides & back of the unit.
He said, well there is nothing I can do about that.
You will have to change those as well if you want matching decals.
So, I have the 3 sets of the newer looking decals on the way.
I never thought that would become a problem, I mean they are just vinyl decals, but I guess keeping more than one style of decals on the shelves is no longer a possibility.
Greg V did offer, as a gesture of good will, to send the 3 sets of smaller decals at no charge.
Thats nice enough, but those decals don't come off with-out a fight, and if the new ones are not dimensionally identical, then the job will have some tell-tale shadows in the gelcoat.
So, order your set of front cap decals soon if you want the exact replacements.
Not sure what years have been dropped, but I think the 2004 & 05 were the same.
