I just bought an 05 Cardinal 5th Wheel and the lady I bought it from husband died. she didn't know what the switched did. I'm not a moron but there is a red switch to the left of the 4 switch box that controls the inside and outside lights. It's not to the water pump, that is on the switch box w/ tank levels and bat level on it. Its not the Water Heater as that is to the left when you come in the door on the kitchen cabinet above the Bat shut off switch. But this RED toggel switch glows when flipped up I just don't knwo what it goes to? Can anyone help?

Maybe holding tank heaters??

I'll check around I have a friend with a newer Cardinal maybe he has the same switch I'll see if he does and let you know.

Another thought it might turn the water heater over to propane. You can check that out by turning it on and going out side and listening to your water heater the DSI should be sparking. It will be making a snapping noise.

It will stop snapping after there is ignition of the propane at which time you will hear the burner running.

I am not sure...she couldn't tell me as her husband took care of all that. For what I paid, my family will enjoy many trips in it, I've just got to work out all the bugs, it has been setting for 3 years in an old airplane hanger.

Here is the pic of the wall the red switch is at the top to the left of the lights...Its not the Water Heater since it's on the other side on the kitchen cabinet. and the water pump is located below it...I did notice today when cleaning it, there are Solar Panels on top of the AC unit...but would they be switched.

From you pictures, my best guess is that you have a dual source LP and electric water heater. The unmarked switch is probably to turn on the electric element in the water heater. Never turn this switch on without water in the heater or you will blow the electric heater element. The light on the panel marked "Water Heater" is for the DSI function for the LP burner on the water heater.
