we want to change from king to queen and it looks like a nightmare under there. Has anyone tried this project? i have a source for a nice platform but there is that metal piece running across that is bothering me and that platform. should i order a kit from DRV? Thank you, Cyndy

Cyndy,
Can't help with the bed idea, but how did you end up with only 2 posts?
And...haven't heard from you for awhile--got all the MS problems solved?

yes we seem to have all our glitches solved...mostly thanks to Paul Cross and his crew.
there are still changes that i want to make. last June we bought a new couch and a double recliner from mattress warehouse here in Yuma and are happy that we got rid of the lazyboy stuff that was way to big. However Howard likes the recliner a little too much. :-)
I have ordered the dinette set from DRV and we are removing the dinette booth ....just have to figure out what to do with the stuff in the storage under it....the storage that i thought I HAD to have. :-) The booth takes up too much room...as does the King bed....I hate that bed, to hard to make and I hardly know that Howard is even in there!
The fridge works great on level 1 or 2.
We are looking into replacing the blinds too...they seem to be more dust catchers where we travel.
We did have a problem with one brake hanging up and darned near had a disaster. we happened to stop and I saw smoke coming from around the hub. One of the hydraulic lines was pinched. We ended up with all new calipers, brake pads and had the rotors turned while we were at it. Thank heaven the truck brakes were fine!
If you go to outdoorific.com Howard has posted about the brakes I think. There is also a link to it from campstovepro.com
Thank you to all you "gurus" that have helped us solve our previous issues!! Cyndy

Paul and his crew are great at getting rid of glitches. Kay is great at keeping Paul out of glitches .
