Hi, just signed on as a new member and thought I would introduce myself. I am stan and we are Rita and stan. I haven't done a full signature yet but we have a 2005 36TK3. Have owned it for three years. For seven years prior to that I had a 32 foot Cardinal. Neither one ever saw a dealer or repair facility as I do my own. So, as time goes by I may be able to make some contributions to the forum. And, of course I hope to learn from others. We have been on the road about 5 months a year since 2000 and have all but one state filled in. That would be California, went through but didn't spend enough time to consider it a state camped in. Tow with a DRW Ford. Love to talk trucks and guns and sports and of course 5th wheels. We live in the ATL area and travel with the required small dog. Glad to meet y'all.

Glad to see you come aboard.

This is one of the best Forum's around for both, the beginner and full timer. There is a lot of good information shared on this site.

Please allow me to extend a welcome for Jo and Terry, of which I am Terry. There are a lot of helpful folks here and since you've already been RV'ing for a while, I'm sure you will be able to help others with questions.

This is one of three forums that I have followed regularly, at least those that I participate on. Others I just read. You might also check out Suite Owners International Travel Club (SOITC) at:

http://www.suitesowners.com/

Also, for a good site for with friendly folks, there is RV Dreams. It is a website of a couple from Louisville that have been full-timing since 2005 (I think) and has a lot of information about that lifestyle plus a forum.

http://www.rv-dreams.com/

In our quest for the dream of selling our home and buying an RV, we used these three forums and the knowledge of their participants to get the answers we needed. We are now "static" full-timers living in Oklahoma City until we retire and can travel. And, I have to admit to being a "bitter clinger" myself.
