I have a 2010 Select 36RESB & Thursday the kitchen slide had a problem. The eldft side would not come in. When I looked under the slide the bracket that connects the ran & rack was broken. I found that the bracket was only spot welded in 3 places rather than having a full weld. I removed the bracket & had it welded & reinstalled it. DRV was very good. They arre going to reimburse me for the cost of repairs. Has anyone else had this kind of failure?

You know that is very interesting. It takes more time to make three small tack welds than one continuous one to cover the dimension on that bracket. Go figure!!

have to put 3ish tacks on to keep metal from drawing out of shape. Won't stay flat if you don't. They just plain didn't weld it. Went to break, some side tracked him, etc. It happens. We just are not perfect. But QC should catch this.

Welding is a recurring issue for DRV. I found the same thing on my shock mounts and had to have all of them welded after one broke off. They also did the same quality of weld on the bike receiver hitch they installed. I found out about that when it moved and relocated into the back cap.

Ours broke off on a trip last year and ripped off the hydraulic line off and pumped the tank in the belly of the basement. Called the factory on Sunday AM from Ripley West Virgina and we went to the factory and spent our vacation there. They did replace the insulation and had Lippert fix the line. They paid for the hotel and oil I had to buy. Howe is sure not Myrtle beach. Ryan did a outstanding job on helping us.
