I have a set of Timbrens for sale.

The set (FR350SDF) fits the following Fords:

1970-1993 Ford F350 Cab & Chas 4WD 1970-1987 Ford F350 Cab & Chas 2WD 1989-1998 Ford F350 Cab & Chas 2WD 1999 Ford F350 SD Cab & Chas 4WD 2001-2004 Ford F350 SD Cab & Chas 4WD 1999-2004 Ford F350 SD Cab & Chas 2WD 2005-2011 Ford F350 Super Duty 2WD 2005-2011 Ford F350 Super Duty 4WD

A new set costs $292 or more. Of course, I would take less--something about $110 to $125 obo, plus shipping for one set.

All directions, shipping box, parts, are included.

Timbrens are made in Canada and they are engineered "rubber springs" that replace the yellow rubber bumpers on most trucks.

They usually are used to keep the truck level when towing a 5th trailer or when hauling a pickup camper--or in any situation when the back end of the truck sags.

Keeping the truck level also keeps the front end alignment closer to what it should be--minimizes front tire wear, reduces complaints from on coming drivers because your lights are too high and bright, installation is easy, and little or no negative effect on the ride when not towing. The ride while towing is quite good.

There is quite a bit of discussion on various RV and Pickup Truck web sites.

Here is a web site that describes and explains what it is, installation, and how they work.

Now I get it. Timbrens are Canadian. In the USA we call them rubber springs

I am unaware of an American Company making something similar or identical to Timbrens. If there is such a company, I would like to hear about it.

Wow, so sensitive. He wasn't putting your product or canada down, he was referring to the terminology.

There are several overload rubber spring booster options available that most are familiar with. Here are a couple pages with multiple examples. They may not be "identical" or even "similar" in appearance or construction but they provide the same benefit, mostly at less cost too.

These do not include inflatable rubber air springs.[/quote]

Mike: Haaar: He wasn't being sensitive. As an American he probably searched long and hard to find a similar or available product in the states to no avail.

He's merely saying that if there is one available please tell him where so he can pass the knowledge on to his friends or whoever asks.

The only thing similar available in the U.S. do not use a sealed dual chambered, inert gas filled bladder with a linear compression rate but instead use a common air bag.(Goodyear Firestone) etc., which you fill to desired pressure and require a modicum of maintenance.

Timbrens are install and forget devices.

I posted the original description of Timbrens for sale. I also appreciate the listing and suggestions of three products and I have been amused by several posts

First, the three web links show quite a different product. But, thanks for posting them. I looked at the links; but, I have no idea of their effectiveness.

Second, I am puzzled by references to Canada and "rubber springs" by one poster--I simply don't understand the meaning or purpose of the comments--unless they are meant in good fun.

If you look a the Timbren web site, you can learn what they are; and, you likely will see Timbren uses the term "rubber springs." I have not found any American made similar product.

Timbrens are, in fact, engineered rubber springs. That, is they are designed for application to specific trucks. They are not a "bladder type." Take a look, now that the subject has drawn some discussion; one can see how they are made and what they look like.

I certainly am not offended by the comments; but, I am puzzled.

In addition, I don't work for the company and I don't own stock. But, they are a good and useful product for certain applications.

I have used Timbrems and they work as advertised--I prefer them over airbags, which I have used also.

An alternative to Timbrens:

Looks like the same type product, and sold out of California. My question is which would be more PC?? Canadian or Californian?

*Tongue in cheek response here*

That's a tough call since both are foreign countries to the U.S. of A.

My first set of Timbrens has been sold. The second set, slightly less tall, is still available.
