I received a "Rewards Voucher" from DRV--perhaps everyone in the databank as DRV owners got one?--offering $200 plus a free option package if buying a new one or for a friend who might be looking at one.

This something new from DRV?

News to me. I haven't gotten anything from them since I bought the unit.

We received one of these letters about 6 weeks ago. This is the first time we have received any promotion by mail from DRV but had seen it on Facebook that they were going to do this. Not a bad idea since the best advertisement is word of mouth and offering something in return is a good way to promote this.

I would never recommend a unit like mine to a real true friend, even if I did get $200 with a clear conscience.

Same here Ron and Libby I got two sets of them as I was dumb enough to buy two of these units.

Mine are all out in the dumpster wish the trailer was too.

Well, my unit is/has been fine, but I don't think I'll be buying a new one of any brand.

If someone reading this is thinking about buying new, I would be glad to share the voucher.

Hey Joe,

If you still have that voucher, I'd appreciate you sharing it with me. Debbie and I are working with RV's For Less in Knoxville, TN right now doing a deal on an ordered Select Suites 36RSSB3. If all goes well, we'll get it ordered next week and then have an 8 to 10 week waiting period until we travel to Knoxville to pick up our new baby.

You doing okay?

They want you or a friend to spend up to or over $100k for a unit and they are going to give you a reward equal to less than 1% of the price? Mighty generous of them, especially if it's you buying.......

Joezilla,
Won't be home until 9/1--not sure I kept the voucher. But if its on facebook, then it isn't that big a deal.
Happy to hear you are coming over to DRV--they are nice units. If I myself were buying new, I probably would get an SS decked out like an MS.
Have been retired a year now, and out for 2 months this time. Doing fine, except for self-inflicted situations with the Suites. Getting together a trip to AK next summer for 3 months.

I sent Joe a coupon in the mail.
we are sitting here at DRV for the last week getting work done on our two week old MS :(
I went into the office and she gave me 5 coupons to use.
If anyone else needs one in the future, I'll hang onto them. What the heck, every one I use gets me $200 if the person orders a MS.

Today we have Lippert adjusting our major slide, which was already fixed twice in the last week. Once he finishes, we are hoping to be outta here.

Sue,

Thanks so much for sending the coupon. We'll be looking for it in the mail. Hope you get your slide issues fixed for good this time! What other problems are they taking care of?

Joe,
our list of issues was more than 30 items long, most of which was small stuff, but still stuff that needed to be addressed. Our main problems were a refrigerator that displayed error code "E3" , and stopped cooling, one week after we bought the unit. It took Dometic two trips out to fix it. Our propane stove didn't work, which turned out to be the dealers fault for not purging the propane tanks. 3 of our 4 slides had problems and the two electric ones had to be reworked because the rollers kept getting caught in the rubber seal, causing the slides to come in crookedly every time.
For the main slide we had to have Lippert come out because it was so far out of alignment. After we left DRV we realized it still isn't fixed right, but we'll get it taken care of later. Two of the 4 customizations we ordered had issues.
Anyway, it's been a long week, for sure.
DRV did a great job getting it all fixed, and were very good to work with, so that was the best part.

Sue,

The coupon arrived yesterday. We've told rv's for Less to apply it to the central vac system. That saved us $275!! We are so appreciative!!

Our deposit and the voucher will be mailed Monday. Rv's for Less will order the rig when the check and voucher get to them. We've been told that ordered units take 10 to 12 weeks to arrive. So by mid October we will be Suites owners!!!

We are so excited.
