hello everyone.
my wife and i are looking to purchase a used model. i own a Ford diesel 3/4 ton 4x4 and will have no issues pulling most trailers. who builds a quality unit? Just my wife and i but will want to pull a boat or quad hauling trailer behind sometimes. We don't need anything fancy but looking for about 25-30 ft Queen bed and decent bathroom. thankx... and sorry for the newbee question.

Nothing wrong with a newbie question. The problem may be that what you are contemplating may not be a good idea.

You have a 3/4 ton truck. You need to determine what the GCVW is for the model with the options you have in it. That will tell you what weight of trailer you can pull.

You also need to determine what kind of trailer, a standard travel trailer (bumper pull) or a 5th wheel. Each kind has advantages and options available that you will want to explore.

Not very many, if any, light weight trailers will allow for a second towed vehicle behind it, even if you had enough truck to haul a double trailer and you don't. There are also some significant issues with towing two trailing units one being that backing up will be out of the question. Another will be the length and especially weight issues for the tow vehicle.

If it's a quad you want to take along you might have an option with a toy hauler unit where you load the atv into the trailer itself. If it is a very small boat or an inflatable the same toy hauler would carry the boat.

thankx... a 5th is the only way to go for me. lighter only because my 3/4 ton GVW is probably restricted for weight. the toy hauler idea is great for quads but my boat is a little bigger than that. although a toy hauler idea might be best because it should have a full frame under it. One of my biggest concerns though is who builds a quality unit for reasonable money? Keystone? Coleman? ? Thankx to all for answers.
