Does anyone know the proper way to set the air pressure on the air bags on DRV 5th wheels?
I remember something about measuring between the plates, but cannot remember what it was....

Thanks,
Jack

The pressure on the suspension was 5 lb. PSI per thousand pounds of weight on the axles combined. That means you have to know what the weight of the rig really is by scaling it. The axles should be on one weight pad and you set the pressure by that method. In my case the weight on the axles is 14,000 lbs. My suspension pressure is set at 70 to 75 lbs. PSI. That is for a 5 year old 38' rig.

I dont crawl under to measure anything. I just air to get the plates which the bags attach straight up on both ends. My mounted air pressure gauges (in water bay) normally reads about 75-80lbs for each side.
