Camping in Western Canada

Anyone travelling on Vancouver Island should check out Living Forest Campground. Great place on the ocean. Lots of sites. Has everything from tent sites to 50 amp with wireless internet on the edge of the city of Nanaimo. We stay there regularly with both our 5th and TT. You'd never know you were 5 minutes from the city centre.

Any experience driving Whistler to Banff. We have driven from WA State to Banff, but never from Whistler, never with a 5th wheel.
I am concerned about the road conditions, passes etc.

Oh, I love camping on the ocean! There's something listening to the ocean while I sleep and feeling the ocean breeze rustle through my hair in the morning that makes every cell in my body smile. It's the sweetest sense of relaxation and freedom. Thanks for the campground recommendation. I'll look into it for my next trip north.
