I was at Trailair in Goshen this past week and had them install the new Stage 3 of the Level Up System. The remote is a handheld remote that has 5 functions on it. You can have it installed on any of the hydraulic valves. I had mine installed on the left and right side levelup, the bedroom slide and the streetside kitchen/entertainment slide. It was intended to be installed on the Landing gear, Level Up and 1 Slide of your choosing. I elected to have it on both the Street side slides so I can watch them open to make sure I don't run them into the electrical hookup or a tree. I can walk around the trailer and watch the Level Up jacks and make sure they are down or up when leaving. The unit also comes with 1 button to turn on a 12 volt light ie: the scare lights or the work light in front of the unit etc.

This is a real handy addition. For example, if I am in the unit and for what ever reason the Suite settles, I can adjust or tweak it from inside the trailer.

If anyone is interested, call Kara at Trailair at 800-998-4238 and set up an appointment when you are at the Rally in Goshen this June. The cost is $300.00. It should only take about 1 hour or less. They probably could come to the Faigrounds and install them.

Now for the really great news, they are in the process and real close to having a self leveling device that all you have to do is after you unhook the unit, hit 1 button and the trailer will self level, right to left and front to back, automatically. This will be Stage 4 and only offered on DRV Units. They hope to have it ready for demos at the June rally.

I certainly hope it is better than stage one. I have it and do not use it. I only use it for stablizing.

Carney Bill, You need to have Stage 2 installed. I beleive there will be no charge. Stage 2 prevents the frame from being twisted. With Stage 2, I unhook the trailer from the truck. Then I level side to side and then front to back. What Stage 2 does, is if you raise either side, the front and back jacks either extend or retrack depending what is needed. There is no way to twist the frame and it allows you to level off the truck.

Carney Bill, Call Dale Fenton and tell him your problem. I am sure he'll tell you to come to the shop and have the Stage 2 installed. If you don't use it right under stage 1, you'll sure twist the frame for sure.

There is no right way to use stage 1, when the trailer is leveled with the truck under it and then pulled out, the trailer must be raised with the front end, it puts all the force on the jacks on the frame, then to top it off, when the trailer is lowered to level, the side jack cause it to not be level side to side. I have seen this happen time and time again.

I will give dale a call after the winter is over tho....

Stage 2 is Not free. I have stage 1 and checked with Dale on stage 2. I will wait for stage 4.

Sorry bout that, I thought they were upgrading for no charge for the initial purchasers. Its a shame not being able to use it. When it works it sure save a lot of time.

The upgrade is directly connected with the year of trailer that you have.

If you have round hydraulics jacks then there is no problem if they are square, as mine were , or are crank down, then there is an additional charge for the jacks in back.

Stage one works just fine IF used properly, period. I never had one time that I had a problem and neither have most others. There has to be a miscommunication in the use of the product.

I switched just because I wanted to upgrade as I will with sys 4.
