Some of you may know that we had some issues with one tire after we pulled into an RV Park last Friday evening.
the curbside rear tire was down to the belts or almost...little pieces of metal were showing...we were so lucky not to have had a blowout It looked like smoeone had just done a bad job with a potato peeler.
We went to East Bay Tire in Fresno, they do big rigs....and they did some calling around. We paid for the tire and the mounting to the toon of close to $300.00 on Monday.
Yesterday DH stopped by the shop and was given the phone number for Goodyear and they are going to pay for the tire...totally, and the repairs to the rig!...The repairs are minor...but they are going to pay for them!!!!!!!!!!..All that was damaged was the fender trim..it is cracked underneath and there are some black marks on the side of the trailer..
In April we had a flat on that side after running over a big bolt and Goodyear covered $180.00 of the replacement!
Pretty awesome!

Goodyear is good about standing behind their tires. I've had good luck with them except at one dealer in Wichita KS. and will not go back there again.
