I'm at a total loss on this one.... no power to the ceiling fan. I've checked all the circuit breakers and fuses, they all appear to be good. Can't find any wall mounted switch either. Took the fan down and there is no power to the wires that it attaches to. Naturally I have no wiring diagram and have been unable to find one.

Would appreciate any suggestions.

Check the switch to see if there is power to it and if the switch is bad. If the switch has no power to it look to see if there is a GFCI socket that has tripped. If all of the sockets check as "hot" and the switch still has no power then it's either a bad breaker or a broken wire somewhere in the system.

Have determined that it appears to be a broken wire. From the ceiling to the breakers the white wire shows continuity while the black wire doesn't. All breakers show 115V coming off of them. GFI and associated receptacles test good. Just unable to follow wire through ceiling and down wall to where ever it is attached to 115V source. It is no doubt tied to the ceiling or wall at several points to pulling/pushing on it won't work looking for movement elsewhere. Wish there was some device to hook up to ceiling end that would allow detecting route through ceiling and down wall that would show signal loss where break occurs.
