I ws looking at an option listing for Select Suites and there is a charge of $97.00 for a RVing Seal Fee. What the heck is that? What's the added value?

Our official oval seal is outside the door. It's basically saying it meets the Electrical, Plumbing, Heating, Fire Safety regulations of the RVIA, Recreational Vehicle Industry Association. See RVIA.org for more info.

In answer to your question, it's an attempt to get more money out of you simply by putting a sticker on the rig and charging you for it. Tell them that you are not paying for their fee to get their rig evaluated. That's like the dealer charging you for vacuuming the wheel wells or putting the brand name on the front of the trailer.

I checked my current RV and I have had roof leaks, A/C/ problems, flimsy wiring and cheap receptacles, plumbing probems with the sinks and bath and I have this sticker on my door? Again, what is the value added to an organization like this?

I agree with Motor31. Show them the door.
