Review by Travis Crystal

Even after trading our last 5thwheel and taking delivery of our new Forest River Wildcat 29BHBP  the terrible thoughts of our previous tank monitoring system weren't far enough behind us. You know the drill - use the toilet once and it reads full, make one pot of coffee and the full fresh water tank reads 3/4 - the system always left you wondering .

With these thoughts in mind we set out in search of an accurate tank monitoring system with external sensors. In short order we found Garnet Technologies, manufactures of the SeeLeveL system. We placed a call to them and in short order a SeeLeveL II 709 arrived on our doorstep. This system monitors up to 4 tanks plus the battery and included a built in pump switch. As with all of their systems the sensors are external so no worry about build-up and they display from 0%(empty) to 100%(full) in 5% increments. Most factory installed systems only measure 1/3, 1/2, 3/4 and are only accurate if the factory accurately mounted the sensors.

Install: It was very easy, taking just over 4 hours. We started by dropping one side of the underbelly material, giving us access to the 4 tanks (Fresh, Grey, Black & Galley). Following the detailed instructions provided with the system we programmed the sending units and attached them to the tanks. They attach to the tanks using a 3M high strength adhesive similar to a double stick tape - it's already attached to the sending units - you peel off the back side & stick it to the tank.
