Cool Short beds & 5th wheels

Has anyone with a short bed used a "ultimate connection" 5th wheel hitch? If so, does it improve your turning capability so the trailer does not impact the the truck cab. Long bed not an option since it will not fit into my garage.
thanks joe

Lots of people using the Andersen hitch, haven't heard anything bad. Don't see a mention on the website about short bed installs, but did not look hard. I don't have an experience with them.
You need to measure from the pin to the farthest extension of the front cap of your fiver.
Then you need to know where the ball is located on the Andersen and compare the two measurements.
Why not call them and ask?
Also, welcome to the forum.

I'm currently on my 2nd trip with the Anderson Ultimate Hitch towing my
2004 Mobil Suites 36CK3 with a 2014 Dodge 3500 Quad Cab with a B&W Gooseneck set up. With the Anderson, you get 4" from the Ball mount, and 4" from the Ball Reciever on the 5Th wheel. Previously I used a Husky 25K on a composite slider I only had a maximum of 10" set back unlocked. Each brand of truck will have a different bed size.
Hope this helps.
