Refrigerator replacement in 2010 Mobile Suites?

Hi everyone! I am considering purchasing a MS that has a two door fridge. I am assuming that it is 8 cu'? If not, I would love to know what size it is.

The main question is: has anyone replaced the 2 door 8 cu' fridge model with a residential fridge? I would love to see pics and models of fridge! Thank you! 😊

Well, we didn't have a 2 door model, we had a Dometic 4 door. Just look at Home Depot & Lowes (or any other applicance store) for one that will fit in the box.

I guess the depth would be the same? What year is your MS and what was the depth of the hole for the fridge?

There are 2 2-door models of RV fridges that have been in Suites over the years--the smaller 2-door that is freezer on top, fridge area on bottom. Believe this was an 8 cuft.
The other is a 2-door side x side with freezer section on left side, fridge on right. 12 cuft. Yours is the 8 cuft?
Samsung has been mentioned over the years as making a fridge that fits the 8 cuft hole.

I know Samsung has one that will replace the 12 cu ft one. I replace it on the Monaco MH I had. A friend replaced his 8 cu. ft. in his Bounder MH with a residential. I'll see him tonight and ask what brand he found.

This one has the freezer on top, so I assume it must be 8 cu'.

Which suite r you looking at. Those with the closed in island (TK) have almost no room when the slide closes. Options are to find a residential thad is no deeper than the one u have or to take the island apart and move it out enough to accommodate the residential. So far I have not been able to find a residential that is not too deep and moving that island looks like a manly chore.

Narnia,
We have a 2011 MS-REPS3 where the original owners put in a Fisher-Paykal 2door, bottom freezer unit and works extremely well. Not at the RV but can get measurements if needed.

This fridge (different model number) is still available. https://www.ajmadison.com/cgi-bin/aj...F100C1WDB.html

If it is a TK3 (attached island), no movement available; if it is a CK3, the island can be moved about an inch outward with little effect on anything. Just some brackets/screws on around the inside of the island.

It's the one with the separate island and the seller said that when the slide comes in, the 8 cu' fridge does not contact the island but clears it on the side.

How do you access your fridge when the slide is in? You must have a 4 door fridge?

If this link works, may give you a lot of info on fridge replacement:

https://ignoringthebarkingdogs.wordp...l+refrigerator

Read thru everything, not sure what else he may have in the pics. Can't remember is this is the 8ft or 12ft, but lots of info here.

Was that to replace an 8 cu' or 12? If the 8, would you have the model number? I love the bottom freezers! We have one in our house for nearly 20 years and have become spoiled by not having to bend down for fridge items!
