Would you buy a Mobile Suite with an 8 cu' fridge?

Hi everyone! We are considering a 36RS3 that has only an 8 cu' fridge. We plan to live in it while we remodel our house, then sell it. We are concerned about the resaleability with the small fridge. It has been listed for over a month and has not sold, so am wondering if that is the reason.

I would imagine that most people who buy MS would prefer the 12 cu' fridge, since they would be full-timers?

If we buy this, I am considering replacing it with a residential 10-11 cu' fridge. I wonder if that would make a difference in resale? Do you people like residential fridges or the 3-way?

Thanks for your help in advance!!

Narnia, you are looking at an RV that is 11 years old. Maybe we should know the asking price before we decide. That fridge is how it was done at that time. Rolling Retreats had one on their lot some time ago asking $50k. I thought that was too high, but what do I know. What is your opinion as to why it hasn't sold?

I see a lot of RV'ers that use a Mini-Fridge or what I call the Dorm-room Fridge. I have seem them out setting outside, in the basement or of the end of the island.

This is a 2010. My hesitation is the 8 cu' fridge, so I'm assuming that is the reason why it hasn't sold yet and that is why I am asking those who live in the DRV.

It's also 18,500 lbs GVWR. Very heavy, for anyone other than full-timers.

I don't full time in our 2011 which is the same model as what your looking at. Mine has the larger 13.5 Cu. Ft. fridge. Generator, Canadian Package, Select Comfort bed, Washer & Dryer and other options that brought the MSRP to $116k+ when new. Bought mine at a Camping World store, for $42.5K OTD.

I see from your other post they are asking $30K for the 2010. As Samsung makes a 11 cu. ft. that will replace a 8 cu. ft. I would do that.

It that a good price for it? A private party sale. It does not have the Candadian package or the SC bed. It only has a W/D combo unit and 4 solar panels with an inverter. Queen bed. Missing the recliners.

Have you seen it in person? Have you checked the age of the tires. On mine they were all made in June /2015. We didn't care for the recliner chairs in it so bought theater seating @ $925. Sold the chairs for $125 each. Any idea of how old the batteries are? 6v or 12?
I replaced the original 12v batteries on ours with golf cart 6v from Sam's Club.
I think on a different post you said it has 6 batteries. So if it needs tires figure about $1,000 and if needs batteries that's another $600. Seating $750-$950. Fridge?

If in great shape maybe offer $27,500? Just my little more then $.02

Thank you! That's the figure that came coming up in my mind. We are driving 3 hours on Thursday to go see it.
