Here is the Picture Air bag Height adapter 4700

Here is a picture of my install at D-Square in New Mexico.
It shows the shock, cross member with adapter the air bag on top. I know I need to paint them. The adapter is 2in. tall, I think they lowered the bag a little more than that, my truck sits a little more level than before, but it does ride better solo and with 5er. Thanks for sharing the pics of the McCall mod. That looks fairly simple to achieve and we can now see the logic behind the spacer system.

I posted some additional pic's to my Webshots link in my sig line showing the axle tag I mentioned before but it's no wonder you can't see it from underneath, you'll need a mirror to view it.

I am glad this can be some help for you and the other that ask about this.
All those post on the BoF MDT site help me, it looks like I have around 3.86 dif. it has work will for us for 1 1/2 years going around the country.

That's a ratio I probably should have gone with myself. Mine are too tall at 3:08 but with ten gears to choose from it just means a little more "stick handling"!

Yes Bruce I know shifting with a lot gears, I have done that years ago.
Just saw a post on BoF MDT guy with 1ton Dodge wants a 18 speed did not say what diff. he has but hill climbing or flat out at 100mph. I would like to see more life traveling insteed, at 60mph. Oh well to each his own.

Yep, that fellow seems bent on turning his dodge into a lot of work, but, I think Dave K has given him something to think about with other options.

I just retired last year and it has taken me this long to get into the "slow down and enjoy the view" mode instead of the "hurry up and get there 'cause we've only got a coupl'a weeks vac'n" mode.

It sure is easier on fuel!

I've observed your posts while you're doing your prep. research. You're going about it the right way for sure 'cause the day of retirement will roar up on you quickly and it's good to have all your ducks in a row ahead of time.

Thanks for the encouraging words. We've just about firmed up what we want as far as options, etc, and I think I know what I want to do as far as TV. Now, I just hope that Doubletree doesn't make some major change such as models and really put us back to square one. Time will tell.

Rear Diff ratio

I was at Internationa dealer here in Wi. on July 6 for a new air filter and talking to the parts person about my truck, he said I will print out a Line Set Ticket for you which I have not been able to fine from other dealers in my travels.

I know my diff is 4:10 and rear air ride is 17,500lbs. so thinking about a ping tank or about 1500 lbs. of ballast on my rear axle.
I have a friend in Ca. who is a master welder and love to tinker with any thing so this winter this could be my project.
