I had a Class C - sold it and bought a TT.
Selling the TT on Saturday, and have a 5er on order. Targeted to pick it up on 6/29.

New member - looks like a great site -

Started car camping in used tents as a kid, moved to (new) tents in the back pack - (used) slide-in-pick/up camper(s) and now as used 5er.

Been through the ranks!

Currently 51 yo, started youg with an old army (3 room surplus) tent, then a Starcraft poppy, then a 20' rear entry Holiday Rambler with a coachmans berth (70's vintage LOL), currently a Winne 30' (god this coah has just been awesome and zero issues), now looking for a nice dependable 5'er. Just trying to decide. I want quality with zero problems, good rep etc. I have heard the Double Trees are nice, but very heavy, so I've heard. We are planning to part time 6 mos out of the year. Just haven't decided on which brand. Damn, now it seems a good time to find awesome deals on any coach given the down turn in the economy. Any one have any suggestions???

I don't think you will find anything with "zero problems". I think DRV is a good choice. The problems we have had have been dealt with. If you are looking for perfection you will be looking quite a long time. Find what you like and keep a positive outlook. Yes, you will probably have things come up, but that should be expected. DRV seems to be one of the few manufactures in production right now and there must be a reason. Good luck in your search. Look at the Selects, they are a little lighter in weight and still have the quality as in the Mobile and Elites.

First Time

We are first time owners of an Everest 364Q purchased January 04. We are in the process of ordering a new Mobile Suite. After a lot of research and looking we've decided this is the unit for us. We are looking forward to our new home on wheels and traveling more.

We're in our 2nd Suite. We made that decison after a couple of factory tours. I wish we would have had time to go through more....

Our 2006 ES had more than it's fair share of leaks. In fact, they began showing up a few days after we brought it home. So when I see a complainer, they usually have a 2006.

In the last 3 1/2 mos, we're more than pleased with our MS. Especially how it's keeping us even warmer (and drier) this winter. 8)

We're also on our 2nd Suite. Our 1st is a 2005 Mobile Suite and our 2nd is a 2007 Elite Suite. We keep the '05 at the 'ranch' and travel/tailgate in the Elite Suite.

We've been pleased with both units. Having all the 'bells and whistles' on the Elite Suite sure is nice.

Now we just need to save our milk money for a MDT!
