Tire problem

I have a 2019 39DBRS3. Tires are Goodyear G114 215/75R17.5. I brushed a curb and sliced the sidewall on one of the tires. Still holding air but Its a deep cut so i swapped it out for my spare, which thanks to the quality of DRV is a match right down to the rim. The only place I can find another one of these is in Tennessee near RV’s for less, and it’s $450 not including shipping plus I’ll have to get it mounted locally. Goodyear’s website doesn’t even list them.
So here’s my question. Should I bite the bullet and buy it to hang under my unit until it dry-rots or should I buy something cheaper as a spare and if so, what?
I don’t foresee wearing out the four on the ground within the next four years so the tire I buy will most likely never be put into regular service.
Thanks,
Phil
