Saw Some Mobile Suites On the Road

Jo and I took a week's vacation and went to western Kansas this last week to visit with her sister and brother-in-law. On the way up last Saturday, July 24, we saw a Mobile Suites heading south on Highway 83 north of Garden City, Kansas.

Then today, July 30, we saw another one heading northwest on Highway 3 in Oklahoma, somewhere around Woodward.

Not sure if either of them are forum members, but we waved anyway. Hope they are having fun wherever it is they are going. Due to our current financial state, we may be lucky to get to take ours to a state park.

We also got word yesterday that the dealership has finally finished fixing the things that we found wrong in the first month we owned it. Finally got the GE Advantium in and installed and the "vacuum breaker" was replaced, which was causing a problem with using the black tank flush system.

So, now we will pick it up tomorrow and begin checking out everything again and putting more "stuff" in the Mobile Suites.

Terry

Hey Terry, Thinking about taking a trip down to Lake Murray in a couple of weeks. No tight schedule. What do you think.

Okie,

Well, now. That is a good thought. However, we have another week off scheduled the last week of August. After some recent expenses, it looks like we will have to stay in the state on our first excursion with the Suites.

I'll have to check with Jo in the morning, at it is after 12:30am.

You said a couple of weeks, but would the last of August be suitable?

That sounds good to me. Sue and I drove down there yesterday to check out the sites there. They have a real nice set up at Elephant Rock for bigger rigs with all the hook ups. It was also 104 there. It should cool of a little few weeks.
