Replacing Dometic M/C Oven

Just replaced the second unit in two years due to breakdown. F5 code.

The wooden valance above the oven has to be removed by prying it from brad nails,to access the header screws and vent screws in order to remove/reinstall. The job is simple and quick. The unit is heavy and requires two people.

Since the percentage is high this oven will fail again, ( hope I'm wrong) has anyone tried something different than nails or screws to tack the valance into place? i was thinking valcro tape as the valance is a nice tight fit. As well we have the elite wood interior, and do not want to add any holes.

Access to replace the inside oven light and filter also require the valance removal.

Maybe the Dometic only creates this issue. The GE brand was unavailable for us Canadians as it needs CSA approval ( Canadian Standards Act) hence we got a Dometic.
