Filtered Water

In the 2011 Escalade brochure it lists Premium High Rise Faucet with........and filtered water dispenser. On the side of the sink is a water dispenser but its just t'd into the water pipe under the sink. What's the "filtered" part?

I agree but where is it. 1/4 hose Ts off of the main tap and goes directly to the little fawcet. I can't see where any filter exists.

Filter

Netjam,

I would suspect that KZ is calling it filtered because you have a whole house (Trailer) filter in your basement. They probably figure that is makes it filtered water.

Just a guess.

As always good camping

rotaxman...good guess but unlike your MS the Escalade does not come with a whole system filter anywhere in the trailer. I don't really care as we won't be drinking park water anyway, but I'd like to get what was advertised in the brochure. Its just one of the things I guess we'll query the dealer about.....I was just asking in case it was something easy that I couldn't figure out.

The dealer came out (ya drove 70 miles....I'm really impressed) and installed an inline filter under the sink on my fresh water line. It serves the cold in the sink and the water dispenser. Not the greatest filter but now I have what was advertized. Got to say the dealer has been great.

You have spared my curiosity. I know there is an inline dispenser under our kitchen sink and I can tell it is not the best. We have purchased some very high quality filters for our MH but I haven't gotten around to address the one in the Esclade we just purchased.

I was planning to put one inline on the city water system but that typically lowers our water pressure too much. I will have to see if our 2007 Escalade had the same configuration under the sink. I'm thinking not. I wonder how I will get the frig water dispenser and ice maker filtered if not...oh well. we will see.
