Paint code numbers on MS

I got the paint codes from my dealer the other day and thought I would share them with you. This is for the 2007 model and they might also work for other years, but you would have to confirm that.

Paint brand is Sikkens
Dark brown metallic: SLNA 93831
Light brown metallic: SLNA 93830
Light beige color on fender skirts: SLNA 93832
Black Metallic: SLNA 93827

paint

When I was in IN this past spring I stopped at DRV and purchased touch-up paint (wasn't cheap) for my 2006. It doesn't match....

I also got some this spring in IN, must have been from the same batch, does not match my 06. Came across it again a couple weeks ago, and although it was properly sealed was bone dry. So it was tossed.

If you can find a body shop that handles the Sikkens brand and will mix the paint using the code numbers you should get the matching paint for the RV. That being said, I have not actually had any mixed up yet as I am having a hard time finding a shop that can mix it for me.

Last weekend on the way home on a crooked mountian road, I scraped the right rear corner on a concrete barrier. No body damage at all, just scratched the paint. I guess sooner or later they all get nicked. I have had this one 16 months before it got a scrath on it. I guess it is broke in now and good to go.

If you can remove a small part like a door or something like that or carry the entire RV by a store that sells auto paint ,they have a machine (looks like a pistol) that is called a PROFIT I think. They point it at the color that is to be matched and it reads what needs to be put in the puter to get the right color. It works because I did it on the last RV I had after a couple of trys at what the factory said was the right color. This way the color was a perfect match.
