Project for wine loving TK3 owners

OK...so I could't quite figure out where to put a half dozen bottles of wine.
The TK3 has that interesting little corner cabinet, that comes with only one shelf.
I thought....Hmmm.......

Easy enough to make, and it looks like this when in place

I think I will line the cabinet bottom with some thin, dense foam just to be sure .

What kind of backup camera do you have and is it on the coach as an after market or OEM?

Ponch the back-up camera is on the back wall of the tractor aimed at the hitch. It sits right in the middle 1/2 way up, you can see the cable to it.
It also has a microphone so the DW can inform me of any dumb-ass moves!

It is easy that way for me to pin-up in situations where I cannot back straight to the trailer.
Backing up at an angle to hitch up the trailer is really easy when your watching everything in the cab on a 13" monitor!

My truck doesn't have a back window like a pick-up truck.

I always look in other mfgers units to see where they might locate a wine rack. Heartland has a built-in section right next to their "corner" cabinet. Pilgrim Open Road stacks theirs above a pantry similiar to DT.

Finally took back 2 stackable racks from our son that were purchased at Pier 1 a few years ago. Ceiling is too low to stack, but 2 fit the length of the pantry. Had an extra pantry shelf to raise up the racks. Now we have room for 6 bottles, but of course they need to be pulled down when we move. Haven't figured out how to attach permanently.

Wine rack

The wine I buy comes in cardboard boxes which makes them easy to stack in the basement.

Well, I'm just the old fashioned type when it comes to wine selection, but I do buy milk in cartons...

Rick: I get the two of them mixed up regularly, keep forgetting which one is fortified with Vitamin "C" and which one with "A"!

Wine/Milk

Bruce

How did we get from wine to milk?

Thought I would let you know Bruce, milk is fortified with Vitamin "D".

You got your ABC's mixed up.

Should we let the rest of the folks know, we buy our milk in bags in Ontario?

Geoff

Geoff: Sure thing, there are no secrets among Doubletree owners!

Rick has made a neat wine rack/stabilizer/transporter all in one. No need to re-pack for travel.

Nice rack, but I personally think wine taste just like rotten grapes and is highly overrated. Another thing. Why do people buy wine that is years old. Not me, I buy just after the grapes are picked, so I can get fresh wine.
