fresh water

Has anyone had problems with the fresh water tank and pump. My pump sometimes will start and stop within 15 seconds, then it will not start again sometimes as long as 3-5 minutes. I have been plagued with this since new. First the dealer said the tanks hose was pinched under the tank itself and then the factory replaced the hose. I have replaced the pump also. We thought it was repaired at the factory, but it very quickly came back acting up. I have quized the shureflow tech's. Nothing makes sense.
Just courious if anyone else has seen this.

YEP!!!! Same symptoms as yours. After two pumps and a bunch of shoulder shrugs, I got in the basement and started checking connections. I had a lose hose connection on the supply side of the pump. I was pretty amazed that it did not leak a drop of water, but would only bleed the pressure off of the tank. I ended up cutting the hose and replacing the crimp clamp with a screw clamp. Hope thats it. Good luck

well, today the pump completely quit....checked an found the 15 amp fuse blow. Replced it and it blew again.

I had a spare pump, put it on an all is OK for now......

I am sending in the old pump for warranty......

I also had to replace the pump several times. So far this one has lasted about 10 months. We seldom dry camp, but use the pump when traveling for bath room etc. When they work they are great, but when they act up your about ot of business. I try not to let mine sit to long before I have it run for awhile. Dont know if this has anything to do with it, but going strong for 10 months so will keep up with letting it run for a few min every once in awhile. Good luck with yours and let us know how you make out.
