Surround Sound 38RL3

Hope somebody can help me out here... I have a 2007 38RL3 Mobile Suites with surround sound. Does anybody have a sub wofer? When it performs the test on the speakers it's asking for a sub wofer but I can't find it. I had to add a set of cables to make the surround sound work with the TV & DVD player.

Mine is not the same model as yours but mine is located behind the big TV in the living room, mounted in the wall.

Ours is behind the fireplace in the 05 38 RL3. But we have a different system then the 07 trailers, all our stereo equipment is next to the TV.

Cheers,
Bill

Mine is located in the cabinet under the "desk". It is the place also occupied by the fireplace if you have that installed. Frankly I shut it off, since if the cabinet door is closed the sound ends up being muted. It's pretty darn difficult to balance the sound from all of the speakers as is.

My 07 has the subwoofer behind the fireplace. I recently removed the fireplace and moved the subwoofer into the next compartment on right side of fireplace, behind the cabinet door. I drilled hole through wall to run the wires. I can now get to the subwoofer to adjust the volume and can open to get a much clearer sound. My also vibrated the metal on the fireplace where it was located. Mine does have the amplified Sony Subwoofer.

Thanks for all the information. I just don't understand why they would put all the electronics in the bedroom instead of right near the TV in the livingroom.
