Weather Pro Awning?

What wind speed is the weather pro awning supposed to retract at?

How do you check and or adjust this?
Thanks OB

It is supposed to come in at about 40 mph. The switch is located up under the front compartment wall where the jacks are. Ours was turned off when we got the trailer and it wouldn't come in. Steve finally found the switch and pushed the toggle switch forward to turn it on. It has gone in a couple of times with the strong wind. Hope this helps.

The lowest setting is approx 14 mph, and is adjustable in 6 mph incriments up to approx 26 mph. The adjustments have to be made inside the control box, and is done via 2 micro switches on the circuit board.

I'm not 100% sure on the numbers, but they are close...

I was wondering because I noticed it flapping up purtty bad the other day just before the front came through. It was being lifted up by gusts so It's either not working (the switch is turned on) or it's set too high. Thanks you all. OB

In our experience, it's not real reliable. Ours would sometimes roll up with a slight breeze. Yet once, we foolishly left it out while gone. Our neighbors told us of a bad storm that kicked up causing our awning to flap violently, but it never rolled up. We decided to disable the switch and roll it in or out manually. And we never leave it out while gone.

I called the 800 number on the awning control box, and they talked me thru the setting process. I have it set at the strongest point and it is still to sensitive will roll up with sligt breeze, so I will just leave it on mannual and when leaving will close the awning.
