Bad burner

Our RV has been to the dealer at least 8 times for what ever. Each time we ask them to fix the burner igniters on the propane stove. It seems the back burners get a spark, but won't light. Front one lights on the third try. Last visit the dealer said he found a loose wire. Still does the same thing. Plenty of gas.

That seems to be a very common problem. Ours has been that way since we owned it. It is at the dealers right now getting the last of the warrenty items taken care of because the warrenty is just finished and that item is on the list to be fixed. I talked to them today and they said that the stove burner ignighter was fixed. We'll see. It's not a big deal to use a lighter but it's the point of the thing.

The stove has been one of the things that works consistently. At first it was a bit difficult to light but seemed to get easier as time went on and it got used more. Perhaps it just needed to "break in".

Send a message via ICQ to JudyGail
The left rear burner on our stove never lit without help from a match or lighter. The last time we were at the dealers for work they said the burner was bad (gas flow was restricted) and replaced it. Now all 3 burners light consistently.
