Leaking jacks

You might go to Lipperts website http://www.lippertcomponents.com/ then click on support where you find their on-line manuals which provide some troubleshooting guides once you figure out which one is applicable to your system.

Check the hose connections to the leg and the hydraulic distribution manifold / switch connection. If there is no leak there then the ram has a bad seal. The solution to that is to replace the ram. They do not rebuild them. It's not a real bad job but you'll have to be able to jack the front end up so the ram is at full extension and hold the trailer there. The retract the rams and remove the bad ram from the trailer. It's just two hoses and a couple bolts. You'll need to make sure you have the proper replacement ram from Lippert before you do this.

BTW that ram is under warranty (5 years) from Lippert so you need to contact them to see if they have a tech center nearby.

Like Mike said!

We had to have both rams replaced. Ours were leaking down while driving. Would not stay retracted. It was bad seals on the suction side inside the rams. The early 05 rams were smaller and more prone to issues, replaced with upgraded larger rams used in late 05-06. Been fine since. Call Lippert and ask about replacing both if you have the older smaller rams. They will be able to help you identify them.

Just a tip on replacing if need be, you can do it with the trailer on the TV if you can find a spot to dig a hole, or a manhole to extend the jack into and pull it out. Better yet have Lippert do it for you, or maybe they will pay a dealer to do it.
