Formaldehyde Question

I am not very concerned about formaldehyde concentrations in our Mobile Suites--generally related to the glues in the flooring and paneling.

But as a matter of interest, does anyone have any idea what the concentrations may be? I understand that, whatever they were when new, the concentration falls fairly quickly in the first year. And I know that AC helps keep the humidity low, which in turn lowers concentrations.

I ask this question because of all the FEMA uproar about the trailers brought into Louisiana after Kartina. These homes were fresh out of the factory and all the insides were very new.

I guess that also my TK3, now about 3 and 1/2 years old does not smell quite the same as it did when new. I suppose that this is because all of the inside is older--walls, fabrics, etc. We do not smoke.

Your thoughts?
