SAT Coax Sockets

The existing SAT socket on my Cougar 5th wheel is located in the same outside compartment as the water connection and is now corroded. I want to replace the socket but cannot find how to loosen the existing one - do not see any locking nuts on the inside of the trailer

Looks to me there is a hex fitting in the 2nd pic to keep them from turning in the hole--have you tried just pulling on them from that side? Push in, the hex keeps them from turning?
Bad design, wonder if other Cougar owners could help? Google for a Cougar owners forum.

If you get them replaced, get some rubber caps (available from Lowes/ACE etc) to cover when not using them. Also metal caps available.

Sat Coax Sockets

Thanks for reply - you were correct - it was a push fit - I eventually was able to pull it from the outside needed persuasion. So new one is now in place.
Yes I will get dust caps for the future
