Bill, we have a standard Lippert (1621)pin box from our unit you can have free of charge if you want it. Fits all of the Lippert made frames for DRV. Used less than 3 months before changing to a MorRyde pin box and stored inside since. We are located about 50 miles east of Dayton Ohio so if you pass through Ohio on your way home we could possibly meet you somewhere so you do not have to go too far out of the way. PM me if interested and I will send you contact information.

Rick,

Do you remember what the number of the MorRyde pinbox you put on? I have the plain pinbox, but would like to put on a different type.

Bill,

Solid king pin box we have has specs the same as you have listed above:
Width 12"
6 bolts per side,
Spacing on bolt rows Horizontal 7 7/8" on center
Spacing on bolts Vertical 2" on center
Distance currently from fwd bolt row to pin center 14"
Distance currently from rear bolt row to pin center 22"

Joe,

MorRyde pin box we mounted on our unit is model RPB72-1621HD. Had MorRyde set the slide bushing for GVWR of 18,000 to match the unit even though we are currently lighter than that. Still great dampening of horizontal movement, would recommend MorRyde to anyone. Cannot believe the difference this system makes in towing these heavy units.

From my experience, I'd suggest trying out the air hitch with the air pin, before going thru the hassle of swapping out the pin box.
I was going to do the same in '07 when I changed trucks, as I'd always "heard/read" that two air devices, would cancel each other, or wouldn't work well together.

Well, Bull. The ride is great.

Regards
