Anybody use Poliglow?

We've heard this is great stuff for fiberglass boats & rv's. We ordered a kit and the poliprep works great on oxidation, stains, etc. When we started applying the Poliglow to the back cap the application left tiny fibers on the finish and looks very rough. We put a few more coats on and the appearance never improved. We washed the applicator and tried it in a different small area and it looks better, is shiny, but feels rough to the touch. We followed the instructions, what did we do wrong? (don't intend to use it on the gel coat)
