2011 40' Forest River XLR Toy Hauler

Hello everyone hope you can help.

I'm having a problem with my trailer lurching forward while being pulled at a steady pace. This only seems to happen when there are seams, cracks in the road way, which is most of the time. This happens when the garage is full or not.

Generally, this is an indication of need for a better style hitch--another discussion going on in the "Lurching Trailer" thread...
Another item to check is the shocks on the truck to be sure they are good--at 40k miles, most OEMs are shot.
