Wood Finish Questions

We think the Cherry dinette and buffet wood finish is gorgeous.

Does it get water stains and scratches with ordinary use?

If so, how can you protect it?

Unfortunately I've found the factory/cabinet supplier uses precious little lacquer when they spray the cabinetry, table included. While it does wear fairly well, if you are so inclined, it wouldn't hurt to spray a couple of coats of good lacquer/polyurathane on top of what they have done. We use Lemon Pledge to keep it looking good.
I've refinished the bedroom counter top, and had to go to the vendor for the matching stain.

Regards

Satin polyurethane on the flat surfaces such as table top, counter in front of TV and bedroom. This protects it and adds to the beauty. Then Purple Stuff to keep it clean and polished.
