I’ve got a 2019 39DBRS3. If it would lean against the backsplash I wouldn’t have a problem. My current solution is to stuff a door stop in the groove. Otherwise it will now slam shut even with the shock attached.

Bought a tube of this stuff (actually 8X instead of 3X) and repeated the repair. So far it’s holding even with the gas shock attached. My top still will not lean back against the backsplash and stay open without it.
Thanks for the suggestion and as always thanks to everyone for your help and advice.

As long as you did a good job on the prep it should hold just fine.

Bought a tube of the 8X yesterday to glue the sink in again. It lasted 10 years so I hope this time will last another 10 years. After that I probably won't care anymore.

Thanks for the recommendation Cummins!

The PL put's any other Construction Adhesive to shame. I have tried them all in my 35 year Construction Career.
