Hi Joe, thanks for the quick response. Called GY and now have a claim number. I'm in Spearfish, SD and there's a local GY dealer. Will call them and work out a game plan to have things checked out.

golf bears,

What is the date code on your tire????

Looks like Wing answered your question. You can see the right center "RIB" is higher than the outside rib next to it.

The failure tire I had checked temp 15 minutes before it started loosing tread.

First pic shows what a normal tire should look like, second shows separation has started.

Bottom line GY took care of me and 2 years later my replacement tires look great.

Joe, yes at the rally. The local GY rep who handles GY cases is coming over this evening on his way home from work. Drives right by the RV park. If you're in by then, you can come on over and we'll see what he has to say.

See you later, we're on 313. I'll have a couple of cold ones when you get here.

Did you bring your golf clubs?

Cummins12V98: I have 3 at 3916 and one at 3816. Yes, one of my tires looks like picture 2 with rib higher than outside rib.

Thanks for all your help guys.

I bought a 2011DRV REB36 with the sealed bearings. I was told that the unit had very low mileage which it did look like it did. We left on our trip in May and six weeks into trip coming into Rawlins Wyoming the right front wheel melted off the spindle which caused the left front spring break. I had to replace both axles with Dexter 7000 pound axles. I was told it would take three weeks before I could get replacement axles so I drove to Casper Wyoming and picked up the axles myself. Could’ve been there a long time but four days is what we spent getting the axles replaced. . I replace them with hubs that I can lube with a grease gun I would never trust those never lube axles again. It cost me $3700 to replace the axles that does not include the tire and wheel that I lost. Could’ve done it much cheaper at home and it would’ve been much safer. If I had it to do over again I would take those hubs apart replace the bearings with new grease packs or replace the axles with Dexter. Good luck!

Thanks I will check the brand and get back to you!
I know they are a 2014 built but don't have the brand at my present location
Doing a bearing survey at the local dexter axle shop this week so hopefully will have some piece of mind news tomorrow.!!!

Wow! Thanks for the heads up, I have been consulting the local dexter axle shop where we live and haven't really got any warm and fuzzy feelings about these never lube bearings etc,
I can see that some preventive maintenance could be the cheaper way out when looking for a long road trip without wondering where your issues are gonna show up. thx.
