weight on slide out

We would like to move the hide a bed sofa from the back of the coach to the passenger side slide out. Does anyone know just how much weight you can put on a slide out? When we bought our rig DRV told us not to put too much under the bed or the bedroom slide out would be damaged.

I believe there is no difference in the slide out from say a TSK (rear couch) or a RE unit (with a couch in the slide). The frames are made up of the exact same parts. So I would think you could move your furniture to the location you want as long as they fit the space.

Our bedroom slide only has one bracket. Much different from the other slides. So too much weight may not be evenly distributed and the slide won't move out smoothly.

We had a loveseat hideabed that we moved to the slideout when we moved to a new location. It was too wide to stay in the rear and close in the slide. Had no issues pulling in the door slide. Everything was balanced because the recliners were in the rear and the Trail-air bags helps keep things from bouncing around too much.
