Prospective Owner Question

Hi All,

We are looking (long distance over the internet as there are no dealers close to us here in lower AL) at 36TKSB4 MS. Anybody have one? And if so, how do you like it? We like the floor plan enough to make the concession to get a combo washer/dryer (will be full-timing real soon if the home inspection that was done last week goes well), but haven't seen one in person... we have seen other floor plans and have pretty much settled on an MS as our future home, but if anyone owns one and would like to give us your opinion, we would appreciate it...

Before you decide on a combo W/D you may want to talk to people who used to have one. Most all say they are very small capacity and slow to wash and dry. If you do get one, make sure it is the vented version.

We have a 36TK3 and still like the floor plan but if we were going to trade, it would be for a side bath, but not sure we would go for the 4th slide as all it would give us is more floor space around the foot of the bed and we did not care for the dresser and reduced closet space in the one we looked at. Also, we spend a lot of time outside on our patio under the awning and we would find the slide to be a distraction and head knocker.
That's why there are many models to choose from.

Good luck and you will enjoy your MS product.

We agree on the washer and dryer. We had a Splendide combo in a previous trailer and it was ok for camping but not full time. Unless you plan to use other laundry facilities, get separate washer and dryer. The Kenmore units from the factory work fine for us. No problems so far.

We have a stackable Kenmore w/d in ours and it is all we use. DW loves it also.

We currently have a Mobile Suites 38RL3 and if we had it to go over again, we would go with the 36TK3 floor plan. We currently have the Kenmore stackable washer and dryer, and they are good as our home models. I would never consider a combination unit. You may think that you just have the extra space but it is unbelievable how much storage these units have. I highly recommend that you get one that has the 8,000 axles with the 17.5 tires and disc brakes. This will be something that you will be glad of in the future. The rest of the accessories are nice to have but not necessary.
