fridge

I've read on the forums that some people have switched out the factory fridge when they had it die on them with a 120 volt residential type.Ours is a 12 cu. ft.side by side. what size residential style can it be replaced with and what brand? Thanks

After doing some research on RV.Net forums, it was done many times with a Magic Chef 10 cf Model MCBR1010GS 120 volt model. Cost was around $359 at Home Depot or Lowe's. They did have to install some type of fan in rear to move air over condenser coils.
