Dometic Air Conditioning Smoking

We woke up this morning to the smoke alarm going off. The RV was full of smoke. We got everyone out and started looking for the source. Apparently the air conditioner in the bedroom was the culprit. Got on the roof and compressor oil was everywhere.

We are in Kissimee, Florida, on vacation. Any service companies in the area you can recommend?

First place to check is with the RV Park office--they will have a list of mobile techs who they feel ok with recommending. The park would not like having bad feedback from one of their recommendations. And some parks will not let mobile techs work in theri park without prior approval for liability reasons.

Thanks, Joe. We did that and got the name of a man that will do warranty work on our DRV Tradition.

Update. The A/C unit is toast. He said that we would have to replace the unit.
He called tonight with news that there is no unit like ours in the Orlando warehouse. So Saturday we head back to Texas with just one A/C working.
It has been really hot here in Kissimime - 92 degrees today!
Thanks for the advice!
